Well now, we're to March. This one will be brief and the following long as March 2013 Brynna, Curtis and I went to Spain and that needs at least it's own post.
In March we began awards ceremonies, studying for upcoming exams and pondering which of the schools Brynna auditioned for that she did or did not get into. Mostly it was a waiting game.

| Brynna was asked to perform at the Teacher Appreciation dinner that we put on in our Stake every Spring. She sang "Oh America" and played too. She did a brilliant job. :) |
Brynna and Joel are really good friends. I love watching them interact. I think it's because Joel is a laid back guy and has a fun sense of humor. He really is the perfect kid to have in the middle! And this month, he turned 16! Watch out ladies, he can date!

So yes, he turned 16 just before Spring Break again and just before he and Josh got to fly on a plane together (no parents!) to Arizona. Another cool thing about Joel, he asked me if he could go donate blood on his birthday. It's the youngest you are allowed to donate, 16 and parents permission. So he went on his birthday and donated. Hilariously, he was really excited to find out what type of blood he had and the place is supposed to send a card to you with your blood type. They told him 4-6 weeks. He checked the mail almost every single day and was bummed! It took about 8 weeks. But in the end...he was thrilled. He's type O negative, just like his dad. :)

| Happy Sweet Sixteen Joel! |
