Still catching up but hey...it's somethin!

November 2012

November is one of those months that is busy, but weird-you have a lot going on but not as crazy as some months and yet it goes by ridiculously fast.  Quick sum up:

We attended our good friend Rylan Dunning's Eagle Court of Honor. He had hired a company that cares for birds to bring an Eagle. It was incredible! Josh was particularly fascinated. The guy posed for pictures, ducking down to just have the eagle show. Very majestic bird that!

This is NANOWRIMO! If you don't know, Nanowrimo is "National Novel Writing Month" held online every November. It isn't something you get paid for but a writing challenge. Brynna and I both participated. Your goal is 50,000 words in 30 days. (I made it, Brynna was close but in her defense, she was writing a rather large number of college application essays at the time! )

Josh, being a slug. Stealing my phone and downloading games on it.  Oh to be 12 and have no real worries yet!

Proof that though Joel tends to like to be a slug like his brother, he really does do the dishes and other helpful things at times.

Helpful things like frame out the window in the basement. It was just rough in and we spent last year dry walling and prepping the walls. So in November this was their project while Brynna and I were writing.

Brynna taking a break from essays to practice on the crappy cabin piano. It is not in good shape but I figure if you can make pretty music on an abandoned piano that sticks and has issues you will sound so much better on a Steinway.
